Te Ora Auaha
In 2019, through the support of the Creative Thinking Project and The Chartwell Trust, Professor Peter O’Connor and a dedicated group of inspiring experts developed Te Ora Auaha, the Creative Wellbeing Alliance Aotearoa.
The alliance creates a structure through which the groups can come together to increase impact, visibility, recognition and investment in their individual and collective work. They focus on:
- Strategic leadership and advocacy
- Researching and sharing best practice and evidence
- Building the Aotearoa research/evidence base
- Connecting and uniting a fragmented cross-disciplinary field
- Strengthening practice and supporting innovation, collaboration and learning
- Advocating for policy and practice rooted in principles of equity, social justice and wellbeing for all.
