Multistylus Programme was the fourth annual exhibition of recent acquisitions to the Chartwell Collection since it came to the Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tamaki in 1997. It was, in effect, a sampling of new arrivals to the Collection with numerous themes, variations, refrains and repetitions heard in the multiplicity of new content which augments the Collection each year.

Artists featured included Jim Speers, Bill Culbert, Michael Parekowhai, Ronnie van Hout, John Nixon, Rocky Swallow, Mikala Dwyer, Dale Frank, Patrick Pound, Yuk King Tan and Seraphine Pick.
