The projects have included Tongue of the Dog, by Michael Parekowhai, which was placed outside the Waikato Museum close to the Waikato River.

In 2019, Chartwell supported MESH's conception for Robert Jahnke‚Äôs Te Tatau Ki Kirikiriroa. It is constructed of corten steel; a gateway between the central city and the river, located at the top of the tiered garden to act as a tomokanga (gateway) inviting people to negotiate the multiple pathways in their engagement with the landscaped gardens and walkways. Watch the unveiling of the sculpture here.
