Patricia Dauder

Patricia Dauder currently lives and works in Barcelona. Using various media (drawing, sculpture, textiles, film and photography) and a language close to Minimalism, Dauder experiments with form and matter as a reflection on the passage of time and the idea of space. The artist aims to return to more direct and essential ways of relating to the natural environment, reflected both in her travels and in her chromatic choices, in her physical and artisanal relationship with materials (paper, graphite, cardboard, canvas, plaster, wood, air, earth). Her work has been exhibited in the Museu de l’Empordà, Figueres (2008), Fundació Suñol, Barcelona (2009), Museu de Serralves, Porto (2012), MARCO, Vigo (2015) and the National Gallery, Prague (2018). Her work is in the collections of the Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo, Sevilla; Coleçao Fundaçao Serralves, Porto; Colección CAM de Arte Contemporáneo, Alicante; Fundació Vila Casas, Barcelona; Centro Galego de Arte Contemporanea, Santiago de Compostela; Chartwell Collection, Auckland, New Zealand; and MACBA, Barcelona, among others.
