Bruce Robinson, Rob Gardiner, John McCormack and Robert Gebbie at the Shotover Jet base.
Robert Gebbie was the deputy director of the Guggenheim when John did the Masterpieces of the Guggenheim Museum exhibition at the DPAG. I worked closely with the director Thomas Krens, but Robert had oversight of the end part of organising things at their end. I had told him earlier that if we managed to pull off the show, I’d take him on a trip to Queenstown. This would have been taken a day or two after the opening. I also invited Rob to join us for the trip. We had a great time. Robert was an Olympic standard high diver and I remember Rob trying to talk him into doing a bungy jump, but he wasn’t keen. This photo was of the four of us before or after our jet boat escapade which Rob organised.
